News
I just got back from the hospital. Mom has pneumonia and a bladder infection. Her blood pressure was very low and she was dehydrated. She has had several liter's of hydration, started antibiotics, been given medication for the blood pressure, and will be getting blood platelets this evening. They are admitting her into ICU and stated that she is in critical condition. With that being said she is already doing way way better than she was this afternoon. She is speaking, responsive, and has much more color. I will update as i get news or if anything changes.
IDK how to title this....
Mom has been running a fever off and on for the last couple of days. She is communicating very little and not wanting to even take liquids. Keep up the prayers.... As of the last communication with the Dr. he wanted us to just keep an eye on the fever. Hoping to maybe get her seen today by her Dr. or gona take her back to the hospital. Love you all.

Update
Mom came home from the hospital last nite....this was the shortest hospital stay in a while. She was there less than a week. She is handling the chemo well, its a different type that she was on before. She has been in good spirits and seems to be less delusional than she was before. We are waiting on the most recent test results to let us know if the cancer is spreading or not. As of the last results the cancer has not spread and we are hoping to see some improvement this time. There has been a little bit of movement in her foot that has been intentional. There has been quite a bit of leg movement, but most of the time it is not intentional. I apologize for not updating as often as i should. I have found that this blog has more followers than i thought there were. Mom really enjoys and looks foreword to her visitors. Have a blessed day.

She went back to the hospital last night for her third round of chemo. They did a bunch of tests today, an mri, another bone scan, and put something like a port in that is external. She was a bit grouchy because she would rather be home, but other than that she is ok. Hopefully we will know some of the test results tonite, and she will most likely start the chemo late tonite, or in the morning. That is all for now.....

Update
First i want to apologize because i am a terrible blogger, and will try and blog more often. Mom is doing ok, she will go on monday for her final round of chemo. She has had some problems with her port, and it was removed yesterday. During her stay in the hospital for her next chemo session they will do another bone scan. This will tell us how much, if any, the chemo has helped to shrink some of the tumors. Today at her doc appt they upped her pain patch so hopefully she will not be in as much pain. After her appointment she went to the casino for a short amount of time and enjoyed herself. Tonight she went to the concert in the park for a short time and then came to the house to visit me and the kids. She was in good spirits, and did not complain of back pain while she was in her chair as she has been doing previously. She was showing off her new hair, and was looking good.

tonite...
I went to see mom tonight, she was in good spirits and doing well. Her stomach was hurting a bit, but nothing major. They are a bit worried about how much weight she has lost, she is down to 140, and hoping she doesn't continue to lose weight. After this round of chemo they will do another test to determine how much the chemo is helping. At this point we are mainly hoping to manage her pain with the chemo, and hope to give her the best of what she has left.
Bloggin for my momma....
I decided that this would be a good way to leave more detailed updates about how my mom is doing and it would let the people who want to follow how she is doing do so. She started her 3'rd round of chemo (this type) today, she is admitted at Desert Regional. She was in great spirits this morning and has been doing well. Rick took her to the Casino on their way out to the hospital yesterday and she loved it. That is something that she has been wanting to do for awhile. Gona keep it short for now, but will update more later.
